CARVER CENTER VISUAL ARTS FRESH PRODUCE ART EXHIBITION & DRAWING and 50/50 Auction for larger works WEDNESDAY March 15 2017 6:00 – 8:00p

Support the Visual Arts Department in a meaningful way and get a work of art created by a Carver Center student for $35. Because you care about and understand our unique vision, you make it possible to implement important educational opportunities that are not funded by the Baltimore County Public Schools. Income from Fresh Produce and 50/50 will go to bringing in the visiting artists, guest speakers, portfolio review jurors and audition portfolio adjudicators. Proceeds also go to need- based scholarships so all of our students can have the art supplies they need.

Fresh Produce also makes it possible for all of our students to attend and enjoy the Visual Arts’ museums field trips. Participate by Proxy!! Even if you cannot attend the ticket drawing on Fresh Produce Event Night, you can participate and receive an artwork. Simply purchase your tickets and select 20 art works that you admire. A blank list will be provided at school. If you can’t be there don’t worry. We will assign a Fresh Produce student proxy helper to tend your ticket(s). Your student proxy will select the first available art work on your list at the time it is drawn. We will hold your art work until you pick it up. Our Visual Arts Students and Teachers will be asking you to purchase tickets.

The drawing starts at 6:00pm on March 15th. The art works will be up to select your favorites for two weeks prior to the Night of the Event. The event is fun so please attend! Volunteer Parents will be providing food and refreshments to make you comfortable.
